Luke CONNELLY is Professor of Health Economics at The University of Queensland in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences and Acting Director of the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health. Most of his research is in the fields of health economics and insurance economics, although he has also published on the economics of education and other topics in applied microeconomics. His recent publications include papers in economics journals such as the Journal of Health Economics, Review of Income and Wealth, Health Economics, International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics, European Journal of Health Economics, Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, Journal of Risk and Insurance, as well as papers in clinical or interdisciplinary journals such as Accident Analysis and Prevention, Journal of Law and Medicine, Journal of Clinical Epidemiology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Lancet.
