MSAC will be providing advice to Government in relation to the outcomes of the Renewal, which involves an evidence based analysis of a range of screening tests and pathways, the appropriate age range, screening intervals and an economic evaluation of possible future screening pathways for the NCSP. The technology that is the subject of this application is likely to be considered in this context. The Renewal of the NSCP will be undertaken in four stages and it is expected that the final report will be provided in June 2014 for approval through the Australian Health Ministers' Advisory Council .
