Associate Professor Charlotte Hespe is a clinical General Practitioner and practice owner of a moderate sized non-corporate General Practice in inner city Glebe, Sydney. The practice meets the needs of a community with mixed socio demographic and cultural backgrounds. In particular there is a high percentage of patients who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are cared for under the Closing the Gap initiative. The practice has the highest percentage of patients with complex mental health care diagnoses and multi-morbidity in the footprint of their local Primary Health Network. Associate Professor Hespe is also Head of General Practice and Primary Care Research for University of Notre Dame, Australia (Sydney).
