Professor Teck Yee Khong - Biography

Professor Teck Yee Khong qualified from the University of Sheffield Medical School. He trained in pathology at Royal Free Hospital, London and then commenced research at St George's Hospital Medical School, London and completed his training at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford in United Kingdom. He was President of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (2011-2013) and formerly a member of the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC)(2005-2011), chairing several committees drafting NPAAC requirements. He was Edgar Research Fellow (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK) and American Cancer Society Eleanor Roosevelt International Cancer Research Fellow, (International Union against Cancer, UICC). He is currently Senior Consultant Pathologist in SA Pathology, Women's and Children's Hospital, North Adelaide, and Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology, and Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Adelaide. He has published two books: Handbook of Endometrial Pathology with Dr Sezgin Ismail (2005) and Keeling's Fetal and Neonatal Pathology, 5th edition with Dr Roger Malcomson (2015).
