Biography of Associate Professor Beverley Rowbotham
Associate Professor Bev Rowbotham is a clinical and laboratory haematologist. She is Director of Haematology at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Queensland. She has served on the Commonwealth Government’s Pathology Services Table Committee and is a member of its Quality Use of Pathology Committee. She is the immediate past President of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Her major advocacy work in this role centred on the need for a national approach to medical genetic testing and the development of an evidence base for pathology testing.
