MSAC recommend that on the strength of evidence pertaining to the safety, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of implantable loop recorder for unexplained syncope - Reveal Plus®, public funding should be supported for this procedure in patients with recurrent syncope who have had appropriate prior investigations.
