Unanimous agreement with the following recommendation:
Carbon Labelled Urea Breath Test is safe. Effectiveness and cost-effectiveness have
been demonstrated for use as a first line procedure for the diagnosis of helicobacter pylori infection. The MSAC recommends that public funding should be supported for the use of Carbon Labelled Urea Breath Testing as a first line procedure for diagnosis of helicobacter pylori infection
