Biography Associate Professor David Winlaw

Associate Professor David Winlaw is a paediatric cardiac surgeon. His principal appointment is with the Heart Centre for Children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. He also works at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick and St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. In addition to clinical work, David is a translational researcher and is the medical director of the Sydney Heart Valve Bank. His research interests include the genetic and developmental origins of congenital heart disease and improving outcomes for children undergoing cardiac surgery.
