Service or technology in this application

Chromogranin A (CgA) testing is a blood test used to help monitor people with metastatic neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) over time. It is used alongside scans, medical reviews, and other tests. The test is a simple and minimally invasive way to look for changes that suggest the cancer is growing or responding to treatment. This helps doctors decide when closer follow-up, more scans, or changes in care are needed.

Medical condition this application addresses

Metastatic neuroendocrine tumours are cancers that start in neuroendocrine cells, which are found throughout the body, most often in the digestive system, pancreas, and lungs. When the cancer is metastatic, it has spread from where it began. People with this condition usually need long-term monitoring to check if the cancer is stable or worsening, and whether treatment is still working.
